TIERKLINIK MAUER is a long established practice in the south of Vienna, providing care for dogs, cats and rabbits; but also many other small mammals including guinea pigs, hamsters, rats, mice, ferrets, gerbils and chinchillas.  

Consultations can be easily done in English, since two of our vets are English native speakers - please ask for Mag. Özcoban (USA) & Mag. Semp MacDougall (UK). 

Reception is open from 9.00 am - 12.00 noon, and again from 4.00 pm to 8.00 pm; On Saturdays reception is open from 9.00am – 12.00 noon

We provide all the treatments of a GP, dentist, nurse, midwife, radiographer, anaesthetist and a surgeon, combined :-)

With our in-house lab, digital x-ray for both the body and teeth in particular, ultrasound and ECG – to name a few – we can usually provide the results of your pets’ blood tests, x-rays and scans the same day.

For additional blood work we use an external laboratory. 

When needed we can arrange referral to a range of specialists who have specialist equipment and training in their area of expertise.
